"So. Where to start. Rules:

Don't stop wanting to adopt a lanie because the baby isn't pretty, you've read the scroll - haven't you? Remember, all their spots go off, and each of these awkward things will become animals as beautiful as Shan-fax and Lia'lla.

You need a kid-safe site with a grassy webpage for your lanie. You need to put on the page its name, gender, which you get to decide, and a link to this site's home page. Plus, when it grows up, you have to put a notice if you want to breed your lanie. Just write so: I want - or I don't want - to breed my lanie yet.

When you take one of the lanies, you have to E-mail Kat, the owner of this site, with your name and the lanie's page's URL, so she can visit your lanie and, when it's time, give you the next stage of your lanie.

If you want to breed your lanie, put a notice on your page, and E-mail Kat about the matter. She'll help you find a match and    e-mail both of you your bonding certificates, and in some time, the baby to the owner of the female lanie. Note: the baby has to be e-mailed back to Kat a month after its birth, and removed from its mother's page. The baby will go here, so that it can be adopted by some other loving parents. Also Note: Kat's not just going to give you any random baby, but will actually make a new graphic, considering the genetics and looks of its parents. You might even end up helping to create a new breed of lanies!

So, ready? The colour of the baby is written next to it, to help you navigate. Now adopt one of the babies below, and enjoy!"

But suddenly you are facing a tall creature who is ready to rear and paw its hooves at you.

"Step away, Ca'than, it's a friend!" Kaytara exclaims. The animal stops its aggressive body language. "This is Ca'than," Kaytara says to you, "he's a creature similar to a lanie. He guards this place. We don't know where he's from. Here are the babies, by the way."

You look and see what appears to be a bunch of six-year-old horse children with freckles.
